A TWISTED 44-year-old businessman has admitted to raping a teenage girl as she slept on an international flight.

The Indian citizen has been spared any jail time as he walked free despite confessing in court that he “couldn’t control” himself as he assaulted the 15-year-old.

The attack took place on a Swiss International Air Lines flight to Zurich on March 17, during a nine-hour journey from Mumbai.

Court documents stated the teenager had briefly spoke to the man before she fell asleep in her seat under a blanket.

He then started to touch her by putting his arm around her shoulder before reaching to her thigh.

The man then put his hand inside her trousers and sexually assaulted her.

Prosecutors said the girl was aware of what was happening but froze as she reported not being able to move or speak during the assault.

The man then went on to force her hand across his lap.

After processing what had happened the girl bravely told a flight attendant who immediately called the police.

Cabin crew moved her to another seat as they kept the man under constant observation until the Airbus A330 landed in Zurich.

The man, whose identity has remained anonymous, was arrested by cops who boarded the aircraft straight after it touched down.

At his trial, the businessman confessed to the assault as he admitted the girl did not give him her consent.

He told the court he knew she was underage but wasn’t sure of her exact age.

In a sick confession he even told a judge: “I couldn’t control myself”

The District Court of Bulach found him guilty of rape and sexual acts with a child.

Despite the verdict, he walked free from court after being given a suspended sentence of one and a half years.

He was freed immediately due to being held in custody since March.

The man was banned from Switzerland for five years and prohibited for life from taking part in any activity which involves minors.

He was also ordered to pay legal costs of around £8,250.

After the case was over, he was handed to the Swiss Migration Office for deportation.
