Buckle up, America. California’s Democratic machine is about to go full nuclear, launching a ruthless, no-rules power grab to cement control of the House.

Back in December, Democrat Congressman Robert Garcia — former Long Beach mayor and rising star of the California Left — didn’t just brag on X:

“I’m proud of California and our congressional scorecard. Now that results are official it’s clear that we flipped 3 seats from red to blue and held a very competitive open seat.”

He tipped the Democrats’ hand:

“In 2026, Calvert, Valadao, and others better be ready because we are coming for those seats.”

Now, Newsom’s stepping in to make that threat a reality, with backroom manipulation.

Newsom’s Reverb

Instead of tackling the high cost of living, rampant crime, and homelessness choking California’s streets, Newsom is orchestrating a brazen political maneuver unlike anything this state has ever seen.

In a jaw-dropping interview with the liberal outlet The Tennessee Holler, Newsom shed all pretense. No more hiding behind “independent” redistricting or voter-approved reforms. He openly floated a plan to hijack California’s Constitution by calling a special legislative session and handing Democrats unchecked power to redraw congressional maps in their favor.

“Here I am in California… years and years ago we did independent redistricting in a state that I assure you, with two-thirds majorities in the legislature, could gerrymander like no other state… it made me question the entire program,” said Newsom.

Translation: He wants to blow up the rules to rig the game.

No longer content to abide by the independent redistricting commission voters overwhelmingly approved in 2008, Newsom is ready to toss it out like yesterday’s trash.
