Cardi B is speaking out following Offset’s surprise move to request spousal support in their ongoing divorce.

According to Hot 97, in a heated X Spaces session, the Bronx rapper didn’t mince words:

“I swear on my mother… I want you to pass away, but I want you to pass away slowly. Let me explain something to you, when I first initiated the divorce process, this guy went crazy.”

Recently, Offset submitted an updated response in their divorce proceedings, asking for financial support even though he had previously kept money matters private. The legal documents did not specify a particular sum, but highlighted the significant difference in their wealth: Cardi B is believed to be worth $80–100 million, while Offset’s net worth is estimated at around $30 million.

Offset is also seeking shared custody of their three kids, with a preference for Cardi’s residence to remain the main family home. Both sides have agreed to cover their own legal expenses.

This new twist adds tension to a split that many thought would be drama-free.
