A TEENAGE boy was arrested after allegedly murdering his parents and trying to kill his sister – he claimed an intruder committed the attacks in a haunting call to police.
The bodies of Lue Yang and Se Vang, both 37, were found at their home in Fresno, California with their 11-year-old daughter, who suffered major injuries.
The girl was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive, according to doctors.
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Homicide Unit arrested a 14-year-old boy and charged him with two counts of murder and one charge of attempted murder.
The boy was taken to Juvenile Hall and his name and photo will not be released due to his age.
On Wednesday, December 27, deputies responded to a call at the family‘s home around 7:40pm.
The caller was the 14-year-old boy, who said someone had broken into his home and attacked his family members.

He claimed the attacker fled the home in a pickup truck.
When officers arrived, the bodies of the mother and father were found along with their daughter who was taken to the hospital and has since undergone surgery.
Another child, a 7-year-old boy, was also home but wasn’t harmed.
“He is now being cared for by other family members,” said Sheriff John Zanoni.
Detective said there were inconsistencies in the boy’s story and evidence ultimately showed that the teen fabricated the story of a break-in and used multiple weapons to attack his family.
“Our detectives have not determined a motive for this crime,” said Zanoni.
“We’re still working through some things to figure out and determine why, in fact, that this 14-year-old boy attacked his 11-year-old sister and subsequently killed both his father and his mother.”
Zanoni added that the killings were an isolated incident and there was no danger to the community.
“The tragedy of the situation is of such a high magnitude,” he said. “Two children have lost their mother and father due to the actions by their other sibling.
“And their brother, the suspect in this case, will be incarcerated here in Juvenile Hall here in Fresno…until he reaches a certain age if he is convicted.”
