A NEIGHBOR has discovered a gruesome murder scene of five different people, and no one knows how they are connected.
Wednesday night, five people were shot dead and discovered in a North Carolina home, in Sampson County.
An unidentified man, who knew the victims had discovered the bodies at 11:41 p.m.
The witness had previously spoken to one of the victims at 11pm, and only came to the home to check on them, according to local NBC affiliate, WRAL-TV.
When walking into the scene, the man saw one victim dead on the chair, one person on the floor, and three others in different rooms.
While officers have not released the names of the people found in the house, they identified the victims as four men and one woman with ages ranging from 30-80.

“They are various racial and ethnic backgrounds – white, Black, and Hispanic,” said Police Captain Eric Pope, who gave a press conference on the investigation.
People who believed they were connected to the victims showed up at the scene.
One woman told the local news station that the red truck that was parked in the driveway at the time, might belong to her husband. She admitted that she was afraid her husband might be one of the victims.
Police are still trying to find out how the five victims are connected to the man who identified them.
“This is an unusual scene, to say the least,” he said. “When things like this happen it shocks the conscience and gets everyone’s attention.”
The past 24 hours have been particularly rough for police officers as four crime scenes with a total of seven bodies have appeared between Wednesday and Thursday.
Officials have not made any connections between the murders.
