A TEACHER who vanished without a trace is believed to be in danger after her friends received chilling text messages in the days following her disappearance.
Jennifer Mendez Olascoaga, 24, was last seen on September 27 and is believed to be in danger.

“When we found out that she never made it home that Wednesday night, it was a hint, like, hey, something’s going on,” Litzy Mendez, Olascoaga’s cousin, told local FOX affiliate KDFW.
“She always makes it home, she was very punctual at work, she didn’t show up the next day, we said this is not okay, something is going on.”
Olascoaga is a teacher’s assistant in the Dallas Independent School District, according to Seagoville, Texas police, and didn’t show up to work on September 28.
Her vehicle was last seen on surveillance cameras on September 27 at around 8pm, family members said.
The car was seen in the Creekside Mobile Home Park in Seagoville where Olascoaga was dropping off a friend, according to KDFW.
But Olascoaga’s car, a white 2015 Buick La Crosse, was found abandoned the next day at an intersection in Mesquite, which is about 14 miles northwest of Seagoville.
“When we came to look at it, it didn’t look abnormal. Nothing abnormal on the inside,” Marco Barroso, Olascoaga’s brother-in-law, told KDFW.

A Seagoville police officer searched the car and found Olascoaga’s wallet inside.
Her family officially reported her missing on September 28.
On top of that, her family members have shared chilling text messages they’ve received from Olascoaga’s friends in the days following her disappearance.
“We got some random text messages, a friend of hers got them, ‘hey are you missing someone,’ ‘you’re never gonna find her and you’re never gonna see her again,’” Barroso told KDFW.
The phone number who sent the messages was not traceable, the outlet reported.
Police believe that the messages indicate foul play in Olascoaga’s disappearance.
“These text messages contained content that would lead one to believe that Jennifer’s disappearance may involve foul play,” the Seagoville Police Department said in a statement.
Olascoaga is five-feet-four-inches tall, weighs about 250 pounds, and speaks English and Spanish.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Seagoville police.
