Christine Quinn is ripped to shreds for cruel jab at Erika Kirk

Christine Quinn has sparked a widespread political and social media debate after criticizing Erika Kirk, the widow of well-known conservative commentator Charlie Kirk.

The former “Selling Sunset” star, aged 37, gained significant public attention with a provocative tweet this week that quickly went viral. She wrote, “Erika Kirk be everywhere but with her kids,” a statement that stirred considerable controversy.

The tweet has amassed over 1 million views and nearly 86,000 likes, igniting a heated discussion about Erika Kirk’s public presence since her husband’s tragic assassination. The public continues to debate the grieving mother’s visibility in the media.

Since the fatal shooting of her husband Charlie, 31, on September 10 during a live event at Utah Valley University, Erika, also 37, has maintained an active role in conservative media circles.

In the aftermath of Charlie’s death, she has made frequent appearances on Fox News, participated in numerous interviews, and has been seen at prominent political events alongside Donald Trump. Quinn’s tweet criticized Erika’s busy public schedule, suggesting it conflicts with her responsibilities as a mother of two young children.

Quinn doubled down when an X user remarked, ‘Charlie told women to stay at home and raise kids and his wife be doing the complete opposite.’

Quinn responded with a simple but emphatic: ‘THIS.’

The TV personality, who has a four-year-old son named Christian Georges Dumontet, was dragged for her post, which many found insensitive, cruel and hypocritical.

‘A woman should be with her children 24/7/365 and not be allowed to work? How awfully progressive of you,’ one wrote.

Another said: ‘What a vile comment to make over a woman that’s just lost the love of her life!’ a third fourth.

‘She takes her children to work with her,’ a third user said. ‘Now mind your own d**n business and stop being so hateful you damn troll.

The viral exchange resurfaced attention on Erika’s emotional pledge in September to continue her late husband’s work with Turning Point USA.

Appearing beside the empty chair Charlie once used in his broadcast studio, Erika tearfully vowed to propel his conservative movement forward.

‘There will be even more tours in the years to come,’ she said, promising that Americafest, Turning Point’s annual conference, would still take place in mid-December. ‘The radio and podcast show that he was so proud of will go on.’

Barely able to speak at moments, she paused repeatedly to gather herself, calling on Charlie’s followers to join a church and committing publicly to preserve his mission.

‘Charlie, I promise I will never let your legacy die, baby,’ she said. ‘I promise I’ll make Turning Point USA the biggest thing that this nation has ever seen.’

Her emotional remarks struck a sharp contrast with Quinn’s criticism, a contrast that has now become part of the broader national conversation surrounding the case.

Quinn’s comments arrived just days after a dramatic development in the criminal case involving Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old man accused of assassinating Charlie Kirk.

Robinson appeared in person for the first time at a Utah courthouse this week, where he was seen smiling and chatting with his legal team before the hearing began.

At one point, he grinned toward a row reserved for family members as his mother dabbed tears from her eyes.

His attorneys and the Utah County Sheriff’s Office pushed to further restrict media access, arguing that unprecedented publicity – reaching ‘as far as the White House,’ they said – jeopardizes his right to a fair trial.

Donald Trump weighed in shortly after Robinson’s arrest, declaring, ‘With a high degree of certainty, we have him,’ and adding, ‘I hope he gets the death penalty.’

Judge Tony Graf ordered the courtroom cleared shortly after the hearing began, denying Robinson’s parents’ request to remain inside once the public was removed.

Graf has previously cited concerns about protecting the defendant’s presumption of innocence, noting the ‘extraordinary’ level of public attention surrounding the case.

Under his rulings, Robinson may appear in street clothes during pretrial hearings but must remain restrained for security reasons, though the media is prohibited from photographing or filming those restraints.

Robinson’s team also pointed to widely circulated, digitally altered images showing him crying or having outbursts in court, none of which actually occurred.

Media organizations continue to push for open proceedings. Erika, herself, has demanded transparency, saying: ‘We deserve to have cameras in there.’

Authorities say Robinson may have been influenced by ‘leftist ideology’ and radicalized online before allegedly firing the single shot that killed the MAGA figurehead in front of hundreds. He faces capital murder charges.

The Daily Mail has reached out to reps for Quinn and Kirk for further comment.
