HERE’S a timely brain teaser to test your eyesight and intelligence.

Everyone knows the clocks go forward tonight, but only those with a high IQ can spot the clock in this picture within 5 seconds.

The puzzle is tough because the clock is hidden amongst a cluster of other round objects.

It’s nestled between dart boards, compasses, roulette wheels and CDs.

There are also archery targets, thermostats, smiley faces and pressure gauges.

Only one in six people can spot the clock within the time limit.

As well as a high IQ, you can boast to have the eyes of a hawk if you pull this off.

On the subject of clocks – make sure to remember they jump forwards by an hour tonight.

Unfortunately, that means one hour less in bed.

At 1 am, the time will lurch forward to 2 am.

That means darker mornings but longer afternoons.

The time shift also presents an opportunity to save some cash, if you follow certain clever steps.

The image you see first in this mind-bending optical illusion reveals your most annoying personality trait

But back to the task at hand – how are you getting on?

Time is almost certainly up by now, but keep scanning.

If you’re struggling to clock the clock, here’s a clue.

The hands are at a right-angle to each other, so look out for that shape amongst the circles.

And if you really can’t get it then head on down to the bottom of the page for the solution.

How can optical illusions and brainteasers help me?

And if you enjoyed that test, why not have a crack at these others.

As always, solutions at the bottom of the page.
