Former President Joe Biden was diagnosed on Friday with an aggressive form of prostate cancer that has spread to his bones. Also on Friday, Axios posted partial audio from an interview Special Counsel Robert Hur held with Biden way back on Oct. 8 and 9, 2023, which clearly shows the then-president struggling to recall dates and details, including what year his son Beau Biden died, and mumbling while desperately trying to recall events from just a few years earlier.

Yet, even in the aftermath of the breaking news events, the left-wing media has continued to spin itself into the ground over its abject failure (blatant refusal) to pursue the question of Biden’s obvious mental and physical decline while president — both by absurdly blaming everyone but themselves while also selectively throwing one another under the bus.
The above shirking of responsibility for its direct involvement in the cover-up has been no more evident than on CNN — the laughably self-proclaimed “most trusted name in news.”
Look, one of the … things that I think is key to understanding this, during this interview, the context, right, is that, you remember, he sat down for these interviews … when, right after the attack by Hamas in Israel. And so, he had spent that entire time, obviously, on the phone and working long hours.
Pérez continued:
Wrong.
The big question, of course, became ever clearer: if Biden was too old, too tired, and too easily stressed, how or why was he qualified to serve as president of the United States? The question is rhetorical.
Moreover, if Biden “thought it was fine” to do the Hur interview, why didn’t his handlers nix the whole thing? I mean, it was clear that the whole world was about to witness a pathetic disaster when he took the stage, so how much more harm could a few more lies have done instead?
It gets worse.
As author and political commentator Jonathan Turley noted on Monday, “CNN NewsNight” host Abby Phillip “blamed not Hamas but Democrats and Hur” on Friday’s broadcast.
If Democrats had taken [Biden’s cognitive decline] seriously, which, by the way, in a way, Robert Hur kind of undersold this. He kind of threw Joe Biden a lifeline. It was an opportunity, actually, for Democrats to take it seriously, maybe change gears at that point, and maybe [give] a potential nominee more time.
Raise your hand if you think Kamala Harris and goofball Tim Walz would have had a better chance in November if their ridiculous campaign had had more time.
Somewhat surprisingly, as Turley noted, CNN political commentator Maria Cardona added that people shouldn’t forget to blame the First Lady, “Dr.” Jill Biden, as well:
I think, at the end of the day, the accountability falls with Joe Biden, and, frankly, probably, with Jill Biden too.
Bingo. The pretend-doctor was clearly guilty, in my not-so-humble opinion, of elder abuse, which she continued for at least four years — because she loved the limelight and the pretend-power she tried to usurp. For that, her husband will be remembered by historians.
Phillip responded:
Yeah, that’s true, but it also falls on the Democratic Party that ostracized people who said anything about Joe Biden’s — attacking the media for even raising the issue of his age, when, clearly, it was an issue. There’s accountability there, too.
Meanwhile, Tapper & Co. — along with countless others, not only just in the left-wing media but in the Democrat Party — ridiculously continue to play their losing game.
Meanwhile, thoughts and prayers for Joe Biden and the Biden family. Sometimes, and for good reasons, the good among us set politics aside.
