The Democratic Party and mainstream media seem to have set their crosshairs on Secretary of War Pete Hegseth. The media is striving to portray him as unsuitable for his role, while Democrats are quite content to have journalists pave the way for potential impeachment proceedings.
This is evident in the uproar and the childish gotcha tactics that surfaced following Hegseth’s sharp critique of the media during a Pentagon briefing on Operation Epic Fury last Thursday. His comments seemed to ignite a frenzy among journalists.
Hegseth expressed his frustrations candidly: “I sat there in church, and I thought: Our press are just like these Pharisees. Not all of you. Not all of you. But the legacy, Trump-hating press,” he declared. “Your politically-motivated animus for President Trump nearly completely blinds you from the brilliance of our American warriors. The Pharisees scrutinized every good act in order to find a violation. Only looking for the negative.”
