A NATIONWIDE warrant is out for a young woman who fled to China following a deadly crash in September.

Ting Ye, 26, was driving a white 2020 Porsche in Bellevue, Washington on September 30 with Yabao Liu, 27.

Surveillance footage appeared to show Ye losing control of the car as it barreled through several intersections before hitting a cement barricade.

The car flipped in the air and landed upside down, killing Liu.

First responders arrived at the scene 45 minutes later and found Liu’s body.

They reported that Ye smelled strongly of alcohol and she was taken to Harborview Medical Center and was released on October 6.

Ye and Liu, both Chinese citizens, were in Seallte for work, according to court documents.

Three days after being released from the hospital, Ye crossed the Canadian border and got on a plane to China.

Police said the unidentified person who helped Ye could also face charges.

King County prosecutors charged Ye with vehicular homicide on October 9 with a bail set at $2million.

Ye was also ordered to turn over her passport and not leave Washington state.

At that point, she was not free to leave, but she had already left,” Bellevue Police spokesperson Officer Seth Tyler told the Seattle Times.

A bench warrant was issued for her arrest on October 23 after Ye failed to appear for her arraignment.

If Ye were to enter the US again, the warrant would be flagged, said Tyler.

Police are also applying for an Interpol Red Notice, which will flag any travel to a country that the US has an extradition treaty with.

“Our plea to [Ye] is that she return and realize that there’s a grieving family involved here,” said Tyler.

“They really need closure on this. She can bring this matter to a close by returning to the United States.”

State authorities are working with international law enforcement to find and arrest Ye.
