Will Conservative Watchdog Group's FCC Complaint Put the Next Late Night Host on the Chopping Block?

Late-night “comedy” shows have long been annoying. What used to be a way for Americans to wind down after a long day, and tune in to something genuinely funny, where the host might talk about politics, but made fun of both sides of the aisle — because, let’s face it, there’s a lot of material there — just doesn’t exist anymore. The days of Johnny Carson and Jay Leno are sadly behind us, and we are left with hosts who are nothing more than left-wing shills for the Democrat Party and their candidates and ideas. But now, late-night hosts’ incessant liberal shilling may come back to bite them.

Conservative watchdog group, The Center for American Rights (CAR), has filed a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) against ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” for participating in “unlawful politicking” and violating network broadcast licensing rules. CAR is accusing host Jimmy Kimmel of improperly using public airwaves by using the show to exclusively promote far-left Democrat policies and politicians that, oh by the way, without disclosing to his audience, he had contributed to.
