Dan Reynolds appeared somber during a Thursday outing in Los Angeles, one day after reports revealed his unexpected split from actress Minka Kelly.
The 39-year-old Imagine Dragons singer stopped for an iced coffee at Maru Cafe in LA’s Los Feliz neighborhood.
Reynolds opted for a relaxed look, pairing a simple white T-shirt with green trousers.
He completed the outfit with dark navy sneakers and a blue Dodgers baseball cap.
With a visibly downcast expression, the “Radioactive” hitmaker left the cafe and continued on to his next destination.
The Daily Mail has contacted a representative for Reynolds seeking comment, but has not received a response.

People reported on Wednesday that Reynolds and Kelly had ended their relationship after nearly four years together.
The couple made their red-carpet debut five months earlier, in May.
Romance rumors surrounding the pair began after they were spotted together at Cafe Stella in Los Angeles’ Silver Lake neighborhood on November 26, 2022.
Three months before meeting Kelly through a mutual friend, Reynolds had legally separated from his wife, Aja Volkman. He and Kelly reportedly spoke by phone for a month before their first public appearance together.
During his decade-long marriage, Reynolds and Volkman welcomed four children: six-year-old son Valentine, nine-year-old fraternal twins Gia James and Coco Rae, and 14-year-old daughter Arrow. Their divorce was finalized in 2024.
Kelly has previously been linked romantically to Trevor Noah, Jesse Williams, Josh Radnor, Sean Penn, Wilmer Valderrama, Derek Jeter, John Mayer, Chris Evans, Donald Faison and Taylor Kitsch.
The breakup comes only weeks after the pair made their first joint red-carpet appearance on May 30.

For the occasion, Kelly turned heads in a cleavage-enhancing orange sequin dress by Roland Mouret, which she paired with nude stilettos.
Reynolds, meanwhile, opted for a black crewneck top beneath a khaki Jacquemus suit.
The first public event where the two were in attendance together was Super Bowl LVIII in February 2024.
They went on to step out to other sporting events, including UFC 303 in June 2024.
In July 2024, Reynolds went on to finally confirm the romance when he discussed how they grew close through their love of creative writing.
Kelly also shared a birthday tribute to Reynolds around that time as she described how he brought healing and embodied true vulnerability.

Reynolds had also discussed Kelly’s bond with his children.
‘The kids really love Minka and really love their mom, and that’s okay. We view it as kind of bonuses to the family: more people to love, more people to help.’
