Denver reporter is reunited with son live on air after school shooting

Acuna’s (pictured) attention was immediately diverted to her child, whom she urgently beckoned over. ‘Excuse me, my son just came up,’ she said. ‘I’m sorry, I’ve not seen my kid since this all went down,’ she continued, her voice beginning to break. ‘I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry,’ she kept saying as she embraced her son, who looked the part of a teenager in high school in a sweatshirt, with a mop of dark, curly hair.
