Department of Homeland Security Dismisses Kim Kardashian’s Silly Appeal During Protests Against ICE in Los Angeles

In a post on Wednesday on X, Assistant DHS Secretary Tricia McLaughlin responded to the 44-year-old reality TV star’s recent Instagram Stories in which she claimed “innocent, hardworking people” were being picked up in the “inhumane” deportation raids, the New York Post reported.

Kardashian added, “No matter where you fall politically, it’s clear that our communities thrive because of the contributions of immigrants. We can’t turn a blind eye when fear and injustice keep people from living their lives freely and safely. There HAS to be a BETTER way.”

McLaughlin shared the actress’ post and replied, “@KimKardashian, which one of these convicted child molesters, murderers, drug traffickers, and rapists would you like to stay in the county?” 

“These are just a few of the convicted illegal criminals who have been picked up in the last 72 hours,” she added, along with providing rap sheets of four of the criminals picked up in recent Immigration and Customs Enforcement deportation raids.

Oof, that’s going to leave a mark. Earlier in the day, the DHS took another scalp when it hilariously destroyed Democrat California Governor Gavin Newsom’s press office’s attempt to meme President Donald Trump’s response to the anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles.

In a post on Wednesday on X, the Governor’s press office post included a ridiculous meme with a clip from “Star Wars: Episode 3- Revenge of the Sith.” It featured an AI voice of General Grievous, the leader of the Separatist army, using the words from one of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Homeland Security Advisor Stephen Miller’s Truth Social posts.
