POLICE are seeking help identifying an anonymous woman who was found dead in Colorado last week.
Officials at the Mesa County Coroner’s Office have released photos of her unique tattoos to aid in her identification, according to a local affiliate of CBS News.
The woman was in downtown Grand Junction either on October 24 or early the next morning, according to the Grand Junction Police Department.
A man who didn’t know the woman called 911 after finding her on the street, according to a redacted police report.
The man told police that he began walking with the unknown woman on the night of October 24.
But while they were walking, the woman suddenly fell ill, he said.
She became short of breath, the man told 911 dispatchers, and then began gasping for air before collapsing into the grass.

She fell unconscious and was soon after declared dead near North 14th Street and Gunnison Avenue.
The report said that she likely had a heart attack.
The woman appears middle-aged and has three distinct tattoos.
On her arm, she has a tattoo of the moon’s different phases with the number 18 in the center.
Another tattoo that appeared to be on the woman’s leg reads “Self Made By My Imperfections.”
And a third seems to be a faded 3D geometric shape on an unclear part of her body.
The Mesa County Coroner’s Office is conducting an autopsy to verify the cause of death, a spokeswoman for the Mesa County Coroner’s Office told CBS News.
The coroner also said that the woman is 5 feet 4 inches tall and has blue eyes and greyish/blonde hair.
Police have asked anyone who recognizes the tattoos or knows anything about this woman to call the Mesa County Coroner’s office at 970-244-1898.
