Eight days into Trump 2.0, heads on both sides of the political divide continue to swirl. From President Donald Trump to Border Czar Tom Homan to Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and others, the hammer continues to drop, leaving freaked-out D.C. bureaucrats mumbling and scratching their heads while updating their resumes. 

Early Tuesday morning, Trump’s new DHS boss Kristi Noem got after it, as well — bigly.

The former South Dakota governor, who was sworn into office on Saturday, joined an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operation in “sanctuary city” New York City early Tuesday to witness ICE agents nab illegal aliens, most of whom, in this first stage of Trump mass repatriation plan, are criminals. 

Or as Noem called the illegals, “dirtbags.”

Noem made it crystal clear during her Senate confirmation hearing that her two top priorities would be tackling illegal immigration and border security, after four years of Biden’s intentionally-created illegal alien crisis.

A DHS spokesperson said the dawn operation targeted “murderers, kidnappers, and individuals charged of assault and burglary.”

So what do ya wanna bet the Democrats’ sycophantic media sock puppets will decry Noem joining the ICE raid as a “political stunt” or “photo-op” — entirely missing, on purpose, of course — the critical significance of Trump and his administration following through one of the top priorities of a majority of the American people?

In related news, freshman Republican Rep. Abe Hamadeh (AZ) praised Trump’s swift crackdown on illegal aliens, telling Fox News Digital that the president has “learned a lot from 2017” and that he expects more of the same from the administration in the future (emphasis, mine).

President Trump campaigned on this and he’s delivering it for the American people. If you look at the polling, even Democrats are in favor of deportations of illegal immigrants. So right now, he’s deporting the most dangerous illegal immigrants and you’re starting to see the raids and it’s quite a sight to see because for too long, the Biden administration, they prioritized illegal immigrants over American citizens.

That last line couldn’t be truer. Hamadeh continued:

They treated American citizens as second-class citizens and President Trump is about America first. So these deportation raids, it’s happened so fast and that’s exactly his style of leadership. He knows he has no time to waste and delivering the results for the American people as they already voted for these policies back on November 5th. So far, so good.

“So far, so good.” Again, amen.
