Diddy Violently Assaulting Ex-girlfriend Cassie: Watch Video

The rapper, whose actual name is Sean Combs, is shown in the footage, which CNN was able to obtain, chasing Cassie down the hallway of the InterContinental Hotel in Century City while wearing no shirt. He has a towel wrapped around his waist.

He grabbed her by the back of her head and threw her to the ground as she attempted to enter an elevator.

After kicking her while she was immobile on the ground, he grabbed the two luxury bags she had attempted to flee with.

Diddy kicked her once more while standing over her and dragged her back to their room by the hoodie.

Cassie claimed in a since-settled lawsuit that Diddy had paid the same hotel $50,000 for the footage after the attack.

The two showed up holding hands on the red carpet for The Perfect Match’s premiere two days later.

Cassie’s lawyer Douglas Wigdor made the following statement to DailyMail.com today: “The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs.”

“There are no words to describe the bravery and tenacity Ms. Ventura has displayed in speaking out and bringing this to light.”

Cassie sued Combs last year alleging rape and a range of other offenses.

In November, they reached a settlement out-of-court for an undisclosed sum.

Cassie made the following remark in a statement at the time: “I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control.”

I express my gratitude to my family, fans, and attorneys for their steadfast support.

Diddy’s attorney claimed in a statement at the time that his client’s settlement did not constitute an admission of guilt.

Ben Brafman, Mr. Combs’ attorney, stated, “Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations.”

“Ms. Ventura has been pressuring Mr. Combs to pay her $30 million for the last six months, threatening to write a book that would be detrimental to their relationship. This demand was categorically turned down as outright blackmail.”

“Ms. Ventura has now resorted to filing a lawsuit filled with baseless and outrageous lies, seeking to tarnish Mr. Combs’s reputation and obtain financial gain, despite withdrawing her initial threat.”

The two met in 2006 when she was 19 and he was 37. From 2007 to 2018, they were in a relationship.

After her breakthrough single, One Thing, she was writing her debut album when they first met.

Cassie recalled what looked like the incident that was captured on the hotel security camera in Los Angeles.

According to the lawsuit, Mr. Combs got very drunk during a FO at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City and hit Ms. Ventura in the face, giving her a black eye. This happened sometime in March.

When Ms. Ventura attempted to leave the hotel room after he fell asleep, Mr. Combs awoke and started yelling at Ms. Ventura. He yelled at her as he followed her out into the hallway.

“He grabbed her and proceeded to throw glass vases from the hallway at her, breaking the glass around them as she fled to the elevator.”

In the lawsuit, Cassie claimed that although she eventually succeeded in escaping Diddy and making it to her own apartment, she ultimately decided to return to the hotel out of fear for the rapper.

‘When realizing that her running away would cause Mr. Combs to be even angrier with her, and completely stuck in his vicious cycle of abuse, Ms. Ventura returned to the hotel with the intention of apologizing for running away from Mr Combs,’ the settled complaint said.

The hotel security personnel told her to get back in a taxi and head to her apartment when she came back, which suggests he had viewed the video tape that showed Mr. Combs beating Ms. Ventura and throwing glass at her in the hotel hallway.

The legal claim said Combs paid the the InterContinental Century City $50,000 for the hallway security footage showing the alleged assault.

Cassie has described a years-long, torturous relationship in which he controlled her movements and subjected her to abuse.

The event was one of several claims made by Ventura in the complaint filed in November. According to Ventura, Combs repeatedly abused her physically and in other ways for years, including rape, in 2018.

Throughout their professional and emotional connection, Ventura—who was officially signed to Combs’ label—said in her lawsuit that he “exerted his power and influence” over her. She was 19 and Combs was 37 when they first met, according to the complaint, and their business partnership continued until 2019. It included specific allegations that Combs had physically abused Ventura and coerced her into having sex acts with other men at that time.

Ben Brafman, an attorney for Combs, said in a statement to CNN on the day it was filed, “Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations.”

The suit was closed the following day.

The video of the March 2016 incident was captured barely two months after Homeland Security raided Combs’ houses in Miami and Los Angeles in connection with a sex trafficking investigation.

The mother of two of Sean Diddy Combs' sons, Misa Hylton, has shared footage of the aid in the rapper's Los Angeles mansion, calling it an 'overtly militarized force'

Several claimants have filed lawsuits against him, claiming he has engaged in sexual misconduct and abuse.

Justin and Christian “King” Combs, the sons of Combs, were handcuffed during the raid at their father’s Los Angeles house.

A music producer sued Combs in February, claiming the artist forced him to approach prostitutes and forced him to have sex with them.

Another of Combs’ accusers was a woman who said the rap producer raped her two decades ago when she was 17.

Combs and his attorneys have denied all of the lawsuits’ allegations.
