DONALD Trump has the “best chance” to fix the world – and even Americans infected by the “woke virus” will come around when they see their lives improve, a TV presenter has claimed.

Media personality Emily Austin argued Trump’s next four years as President will usher in a “golden age” for the United States.

Presidential historian Allan Lichtman also made an appearance on Never Mind The Ballots

She told The Sun’s Never Mind The Ballots the American firebrand’s fearless leadership and no-nonsense policies would silence critics once they see the country booming under his watch.

Ms Austin said: “I think we’re going to see a very ruthless and a good way, strong president because he has nothing to lose.

“He doesn’t have another election that he needs to account for. So it’s these four years are the best years to bring America back to its golden age.

“He has the opportunity now to fix our economy.

“He has the next four years to end the war in Ukraine and Russia and the war in the Middle East.

“He really right now has the best chance to change the world because there’s nobody as strong and feared and respected as Donald Trump that’s going to be our president in the foreseeable future.”

Her comments came as Trump himself told voters the “golden age of America begins now” as he was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States.

Ms Austin also suggested Trump’s policies will be so effective, even his harshest haters will soften.

She said: “There are still folks out there with Trump derangement syndrome…

“The woke-infested virus people will not like Donald Trump but most of Americans are not going to complain when they can afford groceries they won’t complain when they can afford housing and they won’t complain when their kids are being raised in a safe neighborhood…

“They’re going to learn to like him because they’re going to enjoy their lives under his administration.”

The broadcaster didn’t hold back on blasting the so-called “woke agenda” she says has gripped America.

Slamming diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, she fumed, “The DEI is the most racist thing that’s ever come out of the Biden administration.”

She also hit out at the “72 genders” taught at universities, calling it “outrageous” and claiming Trump will put a stop to such “crazy transgender obsession.”

The presenter also pointed to big corporations like Facebook and Walmart preemptively shifting away from “woke” policies, suggesting Trump’s influence is already reshaping America.

Elsewhere on the show, presidential historian Allan Lichtman also insisted Trump will be at his most powerful and dangerous over the next four years.

He said: “I think you’ll see Trump unleashed in this term.

“He can’t run again under the Constitution, so he doesn’t have to worry about that.

“He’s not going to have people like General Milley and John Kelly and General Mattis around him to restrain him, or Dan Coates, the director of national intelligence.

“He’s appointed solely Trump loyalist at every position. He is covered by immunity by the US Supreme Court, and this time he actually won the popular vote as well as the Electoral College.

“So you are going to see no restraints on what Donald Trump wants to do, and we really are at a pivotal point in US history.

“Are we going to be able to preserve the guardrails of our institutions?

“Are we able to preserve the critical elements of democracy?

“Or is Trump going to be such an extraordinary disrupter that the critical elements that have sustained American society and democracy for over 200 years are going to be torpedoed?”
