U.S. President, Donald Trump has made it clear that he is not interested in running for a third term in office, which is constitutionally forbidden. Despite having mentioned the idea in public statements previously, Trump emphasized during an interview on NBC’s Meet the Press that he is focused on having four successful years and then passing on the presidency to someone else, ideally a commendable Republican, to continue the work.
