He’s fiercely anti-Trump and anti-ICE, and he wants to get rid of public transit fares, offer free municipal housing and childcare, raise the tax rates on corporations and residents worth over $1 million, and increase the minimum wage to $30 an hour. Sure, all this would cost hundreds of billions of dollars, but that’s but a trivial concern for him.

Even in deep-blue New York, it’s jaw-dropping that a man with his resume has risen politically so quickly and could soon hold the top job in the Big Apple.

Donald Trump took notice, and he blasted the novice politician on Truth Social Wednesday. Democrats have “crossed the line,” he charged:
