TikToker @crybabyscorpio started her video by saying: “This is a PSA that Walmart self-checkouts are really not the place to steal.”

She explained in her video that she was purchasing three nail polishes at a Walmart self-checkout.

“The third one I could not get it to scan,” she said.

“You know when the stickers are on there just like awkward, it was so awkward on the nail polish I could not get it to scan.

“There was no attendants around so I was like ‘Oh my god like I’m just going to put it in the bag.’”

The TikToker then described the response by the self-checkout machine and the store.

She said that an “unscanned item” message popped up on the screen, which also said that an attendant was on their way.

“The attendant, right as they get there, a f**king video pops up of their recording of me, just straight up putting it in the bag and not scanning it.

“I was like, ‘Oh sorry like I couldn’t get it to scan’ and she didn’t say anything to me.”

The Tikoker said she was very embarrassed by the ordeal and described it as “mortifying.”

“I was not purposely stealing in this moment,” she said.

“I’m a grown adult, I pay rent, I have a job.”

It is unclear whether the TikToker was reprimanded or what happened next.

Some viewers took to the comments to share their thoughts on the video.

One person said: “They should just have cashiers.”

Another viewer wrote: “A VIDEO!”

The U.S. Sun has reached out to Walmart for comment.
