FORMER second gentleman Doug Emhoff has cashed in on a high-powered corporate job across the country – and fans aren’t happy.

Bitter supporters blasted the lawyer for chasing paychecks and abandoning his wife, Kamala Harris, after their failed presidential bid.

On Monday, private law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP announced that Emhoff had joined the office as a partner.

In his new role, Emhoff will work with massive corporations like TikTok as they navigate legal issues and “business challenges,” the firm said in a press release.

Because the firm is based in New York City, the ex-public servant will split his time between Los Angeles, where he lives with his wife, Harris.

“I am delighted to be joining Willkie, where I am looking forward to working alongside trusted and innovative legal counselors,” Emhoff said.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to join this talented and collaborative team.”

The announcement stoked a fire of rage from already outraged supporters who were embarrassed by Harris’ showing in the polls.

Some blasted Emhoff for helping corporations stay in the lead despite Harris claiming she was fighting for the little people.

One angered X user said, “This is how you make your millions in politics.”

“The oligarchy at work,” they fumed.

Another person joked, “He believes in equity. Private equity!”

One person said they didn’t understand the criticism, as Emhoff simply returned to his career after a brief White House stint.

But a furious critic responded by saying, “This implication is that this guy thinks representing private equity firms f*****g over normal people is a good use of his time.”

Emhoff co-founded a boutique firm in 2000 before selling it to Venable in 2009.

He continued working with Venable until 2017, after his wife Harris was tapped to serve as vice president.

The lawyer has had an illustrious career, representing major clients like Walmart and Taco Bell.

As a partner at DLA Piper, his last job before moving into the White House, he earned an eye-watering $1.2 million per year.
