An outraged woman who spent months fighting to have her street resurfaced left a scathing note for the car parked in front of her home after it stopped roadworkers from patching up the ashfelt when they finally arrived to fix it.

Roza McQueen shared a photo of the driver she sarcastically labelled a ‘legend’ that parked in front of her Drummoyne home, on Sydney‘s harbour.

Ms McQueen said she’d fought with the council for months to resurface the street along the back of her home.

But when the roadwork crew finally rocked up, a car was parked in front of her home, leaving Ms McQueen with an ugly patch of the old road in front of her driveway.

So Ms McQueen left a note calling out the driver’s behaviour, claiming it was inconsiderate.

A sign on the car’s front windscreen said: ‘Wow you’re such a legend.

‘Greatly appreciate you leaving your car here. Yes, the front of my home looks like sh**.

‘Park in front of your home.’

A second note left on the car’s rear read: ‘Thank you for parking your car here when roadworks were scheduled.’

Ms McQueen signed both signs off as ‘Karen’.

However, the frustrated Sydneysider said the passive aggressive notes weren’t the first she left.

She explained she’d left a note earlier in the week after council alerted her the road in front of her home wouldn’t be fixed if she didn’t move the car.

Ms McQueen left a total of three notes for the driver, the first asked them to move before roadwork crews arrived while the last two (above) blasted them for failing relocate

‘The first sign was a warning to move the car, they’re coming on Thursday. I gave them a week’s notice and it’s still there,’ she told Sydney radio station 2GB.

‘It’s a disaster, it’s ridiculous.’

Ms McQueen said she tried to call council to have the road redone but was left disappointed.

‘I rang the council, they said “oh no, that’s not good” and I said “yeah it’s not, I want it fixed” but even if they do fix it there’s still going to be a patch,’ she said.

‘We’ve been waiting for this for a really, really long time. They’ve resurfaced it, repatched it for months on end and finally the day came.’
