THIS is the terrifying moment a drunk girl causes her taxi to crash when she suddenly grabs the driver’s steering wheel.

Her petrified friend could be heard screaming in the back, as the dramatic yet easily preventable incident unfolded in Belarus.

Frightening footage from inside the car, shows the taxi driver going along the road normally with two female passengers.

The inebriated woman sits in the front next to the driver whilst her friend sits in the back.

All of a sudden, the 23-year-old girl in the passenger seat takes the wheel.

Her sudden jolting of the wheel causes the vehicle to turn off of its path and turn over.

The car barrel rolls a few times as it is flipped over violently.

Both the driver and ignorant girl are thrown around the car, but not nearly as much as the girl in the back seat who was not wearing a seat belt.

The intoxicated girl doesn’t even realise the severity of the situation after the crash – as she is seen smiling.

She even holds her head in pain at one moment, but then quickly reverts back to a vacant smile.

The whole crash unfolded in seconds, despite the footage showing an extremely dramatic crash.

The furious driver then appears to berate the girl for her idiotic behaviour.

In a stroke of luck, none of the three unnamed people were seriously injured.

The incident took place on Khlebozavodskaya, Belarus, on Monday.

Police charged the girl with creating a dangerous situation on the road and for refusing to undergo a medical examination after the crash.

Last October, a bus driver fell asleep at the wheel in Saint Petersburg, Russia, crashing his vehicle off a bridge and into a river.

The fatal incident killed seven people after the bus smashed into two cars and went nose-first into 10ft-deep waters of the Moika River.

And in February 2022,  extraordinary footage showed a tank totally crushing a car before reversing over it again in Kyiv

The shocking video came amid clashes on the outskirts of the Ukrainian capital during Putin’s invasion of the country.
