Elon's 'Lovely Dinner' With Trump - Good News for the GOP and Venezuela

Amidst a flurry of reports concerning U.S. involvement in Venezuela over the weekend, President Donald Trump took a moment to enjoy a “lovely” dinner with Elon Musk at Mar-a-Lago on Saturday.

This meeting, held during a period of significant political activity, underscores the importance of their relationship.

The fact that Trump did that in the middle of all that was going on shows how important the relationship is.

The renewed alliance is already shaping up well for the GOP and for the world.

Elon has already thrown down the gauntlet at the radical left, as we reported, and indicated he was going to be supporting Republicans: “America was toast if the radical left wins.”

Axios reported he was supporting Republican candidates in 2026, which is a huge thing.

The tech billionaire recently cut big checks to help Republicans win congressional races next year and indicated he’d give more throughout the 2026 cycle, two sources with knowledge of the situation tell Axios. [….[

Musk’s latest donations came after he had dinner last month with Vice President Vance, White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and Taylor Budowich, a former White House deputy chief of staff who’s still wired into the administration.

Elon had been one of the biggest donors to Republicans in 2024, so that’s great news.

On top of that, Musk posted after his dinner with Trump that he’d also committed to providing Starlink for free in Venezuela until Feb. 3. That’s a truly generous act. “In support of the people of Venezuela,” Elon Musk declared. One has to think that this will help the opposition and the ordinary people of Venezuela. Elon has helped in the past to deploy Starlink to areas in crisis to help with communications.

Meanwhile, President Trump praised Elon on Sunday night, coming back from Florida to the White House.

Trump proclaimed to reporters that Elon was “great” and “80 percent super genius, 20 percent he makes mistakes.” He was “well-meaning,” Trump stated.
