Billionaire techie turned political provocateur Elon Musk has launched another salvo at MAGA world by claiming that former Trump advisor Steve Bannon is implicated in the Jeffrey Epstein files. 

The mercurial businessman, who has recently fallen out of Trump’s orbit after lambasting his ‘Big, Beautiful Bill,’ emerged with a fresh attack against the Republican’s first-term advisor and campaign director. 

‘Bannon is in the Epstein files,’ Musk posted Tuesday on X.

The Tesla CEO was responding to a social media post from another former Trump advisor, Roger Stone. 

‘Why would Bannon meet with Jeffrey Epstein both at his New York home and in Paris after Epstein was convicted on sex crimes in Florida?’ Stone wondered on X.  ‘Why would he coach Epstein for his 60 minutes appearance?’

That appears to stem from reports that Bannon allegedly helped the convicted pedophile prepare for a CBS 60 Minutes interview that never happened.

‘You’re engaging, you’re not threatening, you’re natural, you’re friendly, you don’t look at all creepy, you’re a sympathetic figure,’ Bannon apparently said during a 2019 coaching session with Epstein, according to journalist Michael Wolff’s book ‘Too Famous: The Rich, the Powerful, the Wishful, the Notorious, the Damned.’

Bannon at the time told the New York Times that he ‘never media-trained anyone,’ and instead the meeting was part of a documentary meant to expose Epstein’s ‘perversions and depravity toward young women.’

Musk’s terse response alleging Bannon’s involvement in the convicted pedophile’s affairs comes just weeks after he shocked the world by claiming Trump himself is mentioned in the sordid files.

‘Time to drop the really big bomb: [Trump] is in the Epstein files,’ he wrote in early June. ‘That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!’

Bannon’s War Room did not immediately respond to the Daily Mail’s request for comment on Musk’s accusation. 

Musk later deleted the post alleging Trump’s involvement with the disgraced financier, apologizing and saying he went too far with the accusation. 

But Musk went back at the president on Tuesday, asking ‘How can people be expected to have faith in Trump if he won’t release the Epstein files?’ 

The renewed scrutiny of Epstein and his colleagues has been thrust into the limelight again after a report from the Justice Department claimed that the socialite had no ‘client list’ and did indeed kill himself in prison.

Trump addressed the Epstein files on Tuesday during a Cabinet meeting, seemingly mocking a reporter’s question about the report. 

‘Are you still talking about Epstein? This guy has been talked about for years. Are people still talking about this creep? I can’t believe you’re asking a question about Epstein,’ the president said. 

Trump’s base, including high-profile allies like Tucker Carlson and Glenn Beck, are demanding answers and accusing Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel of ‘lying’ to the American public.

Most of the online ire has been directed towards Bondi.

‘If Jeffrey Epstein had no client list, didn’t have elites raping girls on his island and hadn’t taken part in any blackmail schemes… Then… Why’d he kill himself?’ Pro-Trump content creator Robby Starbuck posted to X.

He insisted: ‘Doesn’t pass the smell test Pam Bondi.’

Republican Rep. Warren Davidson of Ohio wrote on Tuesday that ‘even after Pam Bondi resigns or is fired’ the issues with the Epstein files ‘won’t go away.’ 

Earlier this year the Trump administration hosted conservative influencers to the White House to give them updates on the Epstein files. 

The group was trotted out of the residence holding binders that claimed to contain additional information on the deceased sex criminal. 

However, the contents of those binders were later discovered to be full of previously disclosed information and lacked a new bombshell. 

Bondi said in February Epstein’s client list was ‘sitting on her desk,’ but has since walked back that statement.

Right-wing media site the Gateway Pundit posted: ‘If Jeffrey Epstein Had No Client List Then Why Did AG Pam Bondi Tell Reporters the List ‘Is Sitting on My Desk Right Now to Review.’ 

Bannon, for his part, has not been shy about slamming the world’s richest man. 

He has repeatedly called Musk a puppet of the Chinese government and has even called for the South African-born entrepreneur to be deported.
