Epstein survivor 'not sure' Trump is 'comprehending what I am trying to communicate to him

A survivor of sex crimes performed by deceased financier Jeffrey Epstein on Tuesday said she’s “not sure” if the president understands what she’s trying to communicate to him.

“He hears me, the president is hearing me,” Haley Robson, an Epstein survivor, said of her request for the president’s condolences, during an appearance on CNN’s “Erin Burnett OutFront.”

“I think that communication is key when it‘s followed with comprehension. So I‘m not sure that he‘s comprehending what I am trying to communicate to him.”

Robson has urged Trump to meet with her and other survivors to understand the pain they endured after being lured into an underground child sex trafficking ring by Epstein.

“There‘s no way any woman, let alone a 16-year-old child, is going to understand what‘s happening in that moment. And so it‘s devastating going through that, you know, when you‘re 16 and having to live with that abuse, and then coming out publicly after 17 years of being silenced and trying to get people to understand — and not just the president, not just the administration, not just the politicians, but trying to get people in the country to understand not only what we were put through, but the people that we’re up against, the system that we’re up against,” Robson told Burnett.

“Obviously, there‘s been a failure on both sides.”

On Tuesday, Trump told reporters he “hadn’t even thought” about meeting with Epstein’s victims.

But the president noted, “I don’t like that whole situation, with respect to anybody being abused or hurt.”

Robeson said if the president won’t meet with her, Trump should at least stop referring to Epstein’s crimes as a hoax.

“How can we move on when the leader of the free world keeps calling this a hoax, when indeed it is not a hoax?” Robeson told CNN.

A number of Republicans have said Trump does not think allegations against Epstin are a hoax, but that he thinks Democrats are behind a hoax that he has something to hide in the Epstein files.

“And then it‘s just kind of this feeling of, like, you‘re throwing everything at the wall to let it stick, and now it‘s you‘re an FBI informant, and now you‘re not an FBI informant, it‘s back to being a hoax. It‘s very confusing. You know, it‘s appalling. I‘m appalled. It gets worse and worse every day.”
