Epstein Memo Denies Client List, Sparks American Fury

The Trump administration’s Justice Department and FBI have declared Jeffrey Epstein’s 2019 death a suicide and found no evidence of a “client list” or blackmail scheme, per a memo obtained by Axios on July 7, 2025.

The findings, backed by enhanced prison footage, aim to debunk conspiracy theories. However, they have sparked outrage among Americans, with attorney Robert Barnes criticizing the DOJ on X for withholding Epstein files.

Consequently, investigative journalist Whitney Webb’s allegations of Epstein’s Mossad connections deepen skepticism, suggesting a cover-up tied to foreign loyalties, thus challenging the memo’s credibility.

DOJ Memo Shuts Down Epstein Case

The DOJ and FBI memo, reviewing 11 hours of footage from Epstein’s Manhattan cell from 10:40 p.m. on August 9, 2019, to 6:30 a.m. on August 10, found no one entered the area, supporting the medical examiner’s suicide ruling.

Moreover, the FBI enhanced the video for clarity, and the memo denies the existence of a “client list” or evidence of Epstein blackmailing prominent figures.

Thus, authorities will pursue no further charges beyond Ghislaine Maxwell’s 20-year sentence for child sex trafficking.

“Investigators found ‘no incriminating “client list”’ of Epstein’s, ‘no credible evidence … that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals,’ and no ‘evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties,’ the memo adds.” Axios

For instance, the DOJ cited victim protection and the risk of releasing child sexual abuse material as reasons to halt further disclosures, but this has intensified distrust among Americans seeking transparency.

Pam Bondi’s Broken Promises Fuel Cover-Up Claims

Attorney General Pam Bondi’s contradictory statements have amplified American distrust in the DOJ’s Epstein investigation.

Initially promising transparency, Bondi’s assurances of releasing extensive Epstein files have unraveled, with critics accusing her of misleading the public.

For example, a timeline of her statements reveals a pattern of unfulfilled pledges, culminating in the DOJ’s claim that no client list exists, further fueling cover-up allegations.

  • February 2025: Bondi claimed on Fox News that Epstein’s client list was on her desk, promising imminent release to the public.

  • Late February 2025: The DOJ distributed “declassified” binders to pro-Trump influencers at the White House, but the files contained no new information, prompting Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) to call it a “complete disappointment.”

  • March 2025: Facing pressure, Bondi told Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo that the FBI was reviewing “tens of thousands of videos” involving child pornography, delaying further releases. However, law enforcement sources later told the Associated Press no such trove exists.

  • July 2025: The DOJ memo denied the existence of a client list, contradicting Bondi’s earlier claims and asserting no further disclosures were warranted, citing victim protection.

“Pam Bondi said the Epstein client list was on her desk to review for release to the public just a few months ago. Now the DOJ she leads claims that there’s no Epstein client list. Sorry but this is unacceptable. Was she lying then or is she lying now? We deserve answers.” Newsweek

Whitney Webb discusses Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged Mossad connections and financial crimes on the PBD Podcast, streamed live on October 27, 2022, challenging official narratives about his death and activities.
Whitney Webb’s Mossad Revelations

Investigative journalist Whitney Webb, in One Nation Under Blackmail and a 2022 PBD Podcast, alleges Epstein’s crimes were part of an intelligence operation tied to Israeli Mossad.

For instance, she cited Alex Acosta’s claim that Epstein “belonged to intelligence,” suggesting protection from powerful networks.

Additionally, Webb traced Epstein’s rise to the 1970s at Dalton School, where he was hired by Donald Barr despite lacking a degree, and to the 1980s, when he worked with the Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI), implicated in money laundering and sex trafficking.

His ties to Mossad-linked arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi and Robert Maxwell, Ghislaine’s father, point to a deeper Israeli connection. PBD Podcast

Specifically, Webb connects Epstein to Maxwell, a confirmed Mossad operative who sold bugged PROMIS software for Israeli intelligence.

Former Israeli intelligence officer Ari Ben-Menashe told Webb he met Epstein in Maxwell’s London office, where Epstein was introduced as a Mossad-approved operative running a sexual blackmail scheme targeting U.S. elites.

Furthermore, Webb argues these ties, including Epstein’s links to Leslie Wexner and the Mega Group, enabled his impunity for decades, suggesting the DOJ’s memo ignores a broader intelligence network.

Bongino’s Reversal and Epstein’s Brother Stoke Suspicion

Dan Bongino’s shift has drawn scrutiny, particularly as Mark Epstein, Jeffrey’s brother, rejects the suicide ruling. In a 2019 video, Bongino urged,

“Please do not let that story go. Keep your eye on this. There are a lot of people in the Washington swamp not telling you the truth about serious allegations that Epstein may have had video and audio of people.”

However, his 2025 endorsement of the suicide narrative contradicts this, suggesting alignment with establishment interests post-FBI appointment.

Meanwhile, Mark Epstein, in a January 2024 interview, called for a new investigation, dismissing the DOJ’s findings.

“Mark Epstein doesn’t accept the justice department report that found jail officials guilty of negligence, misconduct and outright job performance failures, but also found no evidence that his death was anything but suicide. ‘I would like a full investigation of his death. If you look at all the evidence, including the autopsy, the photographs of his body, the bullshit DOJ report that is filled with inaccuracies, you would never come up with the conclusion that this was a suicide – but based on what?’ he said.” – The Guardian

Consequently, Bongino’s reversal and Mark Epstein’s skepticism undermine the memo’s credibility among Americans.

Trump’s Social Connections Questioned

Epstein’s 1990s social ties to Trump, including shared parties, have fueled speculation, amplified by Elon Musk’s deleted June 2025 X post claiming Trump’s name was in the Epstein files.

Yet, Trump denied involvement, citing his attorney David Schoen’s statement and his 2019 claim of barring Epstein from his resorts.

While the memo clears Trump of criminal ties, Americans argue it sidesteps Epstein’s broader network, particularly Israel-linked figures, thus raising concerns about foreign influence.

Transparency Denied, Conservative Divide Widens

The DOJ’s refusal to release more files, citing victim safety, clashes with Bondi’s transparency pledges, fueling accusations of a cover-up. Moreover, Webb’s investigation suggests Epstein’s Mossad ties enabled his impunity, a facet the memo ignores.

This exacerbates the schism between America First conservatives, who demand unfiltered disclosure, and Zionist conservatives, whose allegiance to Israel greatly tempers their criticism.

We might not have the full truth, but Epstein’s Israel connections are real. When those in power, potentially loyal to a foreign state under scrutiny, control the narrative, American citizens must question their claims, demanding accountability to protect our Constitutional Republic.
