THE Menendez brothers have appeared together in court for the first time in decades as they pursue their appeal for resentencing.

Erik and Lyle Menendez were pictured sitting together in a court sketch from the hearing, wearing blue prison uniforms and tense looks, as they joined remotely from prison.

Erik and Lyle appeared before a California judge on Friday for a monumental resentencing hearing to seek freedom more than 30 years after they murdered their parents, Kitty and Jose Menendez.

In the sketch, the brother’s body language seems serious and tense as the hearing goes on.

The drawing depicts Lyle, 57, staring ahead with a straight face, ignoring the person on the stand, as Erik, 54, nervously directs his gaze toward the speaker.

The brothers have spent more than 30 years behind bars and are hoping renewed public interest in their case will aid their appeal for resentencing.

Interest in the 1989 murder case of Kitty and Jose Menendez resurfaced the past year after Ryan Murphy released his Netflix limited series, Monsters: The The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.

The nine-episode show depicts the story of Lyle, played by Nicholas Alexander Chavez, and Erik, played by Cooper Koch, after they were accused and later convicted of shooting their parents several times.

Cooper Koch even appeared at the hearing in Los Angeles on the morning of April 11.

The actor sat with Erik’s wife, Tammi, and the couple’s daughter, Talia Menendez.
