Erika Kirk, widow of assassinated Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, used a new Fox News appearance to denounce conspiracy theories surrounding her husband’s death and burial while pleading for a single “sacred” space to remain private for her family.
During an interview with Fox News host Harris Faulkner, Erika passionately expressed her desire for privacy, asking, “Can I have one thing? Can my children have one thing?” She elaborated on plans for a grand memorial dedicated to her husband at Turning Point USA. The tribute is intended to be both “spectacular” and “for the world to see,” featuring a museum-like homage to Charlie. Despite this public celebration of his life, Erika wishes to keep the location of his final resting place sacred and shielded from possible desecration by “some secular revolutionary,” especially when their daughter visits his grave to pray.
Erika highlighted that while Charlie was known to the world as “Charlie Kirk,” to her, he was simply her husband. She emphasized the importance of preserving “one thing left that is sacred” for her family, including her children, in-laws, and parents. This comes in response to online speculation about the secrecy surrounding his burial and funeral details.
Addressing the swirl of accusations and conspiracy theories that have surfaced since his assassination, Erika clarified, “My silence does not mean that I am complacent.” She assured that her silence should not be interpreted as complicity by Turning Point USA or its staff, who were deeply loved by Charlie. She likened herself and the organization to the biblical prophet Nehemiah, focused on their mission and undeterred by distractions, as they are “busy building.”
Erika affirmed that any potential leads or information regarding the assassination are promptly shared with authorities, vowing that “no rock will be unturned” in seeking justice for her husband. However, she criticized those who exploit the situation for profit, accusing them of earning “hundreds and thousands of dollars every single episode” by insinuating that people close to Kirk were involved in the plot against him.
Faulkner noted Erika’s unusually assertive demeanor during the interview. Erika explained her stance as “righteous anger,” condemning the current climate as “a mind virus.” While she remains unfazed by personal attacks, she cautioned that “words are very powerful, and we are human.” She revealed that her team is enduring a surge in “death threats” and “kidnapping threats,” levels of which she has never experienced before.

Rejecting Claims TPUSA Was ‘In On It’
Addressing a wave of accusations and theories circulating since the assassination, Erika said, “My silence does not mean that I am complacent. My silence does not mean that somehow Turning Point USA and all of the hand-picked staff that loved my husband and my husband loved them is somehow in on it.” She repeatedly described herself and the organization as “busy building,” invoking chapter 6 of the book of Nehemiah and the prophet’s refusal to come down from rebuilding the wall to engage with taunts and distractions.
Erika said that whenever she or her team receive a lead or information about the killing, “we send it to the authorities,” promising that “no rock will be unturned” in the search for justice for her husband and family. At the same time, she drew a firm line against those she says are profiting from implicating her “Turning Point USA family” and “Charlie Kirk show family,” accusing them of making “hundreds and thousands of dollars every single episode” while suggesting people close to Kirk were “in on this.”
‘Righteous Anger,’ Death Threats and a ‘Mind Virus’
Faulkner noted she had never seen Erika so forceful on air, prompting Erika to describe her reaction as “righteous anger” and to condemn the current environment as “a mind virus.” She said she does not care what people call her personally, but warned, “your words are very powerful, and we are human,” adding that her team is facing “more death threats” and “kidnapping threats” than she has ever seen.
Erika said members of the Turning Point USA staff “watched my husband get murdered” and are “rocked to the core,” asking why they should be forced to “relive that trauma all over again” as they are “dragged through the mud, analyzed, hyper-analyzed” every day. She said she still believes in the judicial system and said her side has “a hell of a team working on this,” insisting that she wants justice “more than anyone else out there,” even as she urges an end to what she calls the “conspiracy collection” targeting her family and Kirk’s colleagues.
