THE mom of Oxford High School shooter Ethan Crumbley has blamed her husband for the killings after he allegedly helped their son buy a gun, prosecutors have said.
Jennifer Crumbley has been pinning the blame on husband James during “jailhouse talks” with other inmates, new court filings allege.
A recent filing showed that Crumbley was overheard blaming her husband for the shooting.
James Crumbley helped his son and the shooter, Ethan Crumbley, buy a gun in 2021. He would use it to fire upon his classmates days later.
That day Ethan posted a photo with the gun on his Instagram captioned “Just got my new beauty today. SIG SAUER 9mm.”
Prosecutors also said Ethan told his father he needed help for mental health issues, but the request was ignored.
James and Jennifer were both charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter in connection to the shooting.
They both plead not guilty.
