Unredacted Epstein Emails: Trump’s Virginia Giuffre Link Surfaces

A new series of bombshell emails obtained by the Daily Mail has revealed that convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein repeatedly claimed former President Donald Trump “spent hours” with Virginia Giuffre, who was recruited at age 16 by Ghislaine Maxwell from Mar-a-Lago—but that Giuffre herself stated Trump “never did anything wrong.”

Newly unveiled emails, made public on Wednesday by the House Oversight Committee Democrats through a subpoena, have revealed an intriguing exchange involving Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell in April 2011. In the emails, Epstein tells Maxwell, “I want you to realize that that dog that hasn’t barked is Trump. Virginia spent hours at my house with him, he has never once been mentioned. Police chief. Etc. I’m 75% there.” Maxwell’s response was, “I have been thinking about that…” Although the context of the conversation is unclear, this correspondence has added a fresh layer of interest to the ongoing congressional inquiry into Epstein’s affairs.

Though the Democrats omitted Virginia Giuffre’s name in their released documents, the Daily Mail confirmed her identity from the original email. Giuffre has consistently stated that Donald Trump did not engage in any misconduct, noting that he was “couldn’t have been friendlier” to her during their interactions.

These emails form part of a comprehensive set of documents from Epstein’s estate, which Congress obtained after an extensive legal struggle. Notably, Trump was neither a sender nor a recipient of these emails. He has never faced criminal charges in connection with the Epstein-Maxwell cases and had previously banned Epstein from his Mar-a-Lago resort for allegedly attempting to recruit underage employees, including Giuffre.

In a separate email from 2019, addressed to journalist Michael Wolff, Epstein claimed that “Trump knew about the girls as he asked Ghislaine to stop,” referring to Maxwell. In another email, Wolff mentioned that CNN intended to question Trump during a primary debate regarding his association with Epstein. Epstein, contemplating possible responses, queried Wolff, “If we were able to craft an answer for him, what do you think it should be?”

Trump has consistently asserted that he severed ties with Epstein due to his inappropriate behavior. In 2019, he stated aboard Air Force One that he had declared Epstein “persona non grata” for allegedly targeting young women at the Mar-a-Lago spa, a group that might have included Giuffre. This week, White House officials criticized Democrats for selectively leaking information, reiterating that there is no evidence linking Trump to any illegal activities or misconduct involving Giuffre or others.

Meanwhile, Maxwell’s legal counsel is reportedly seeking immunity in exchange for congressional testimony, as House Republicans up pressure to release all Epstein-related Justice Department files. Congressional votes on further document releases could come as lawmakers end the recent government shutdown.
