Authorities released the names of three of the victims on Monday: Marquay Swann, 14; Zyshaun Cuffey, 15; and Serenity Sellman, 15.

Dartrel Byers, 17, was also killed in the wreck, his family told local NBC affiliate WRC-TV.

Police told the outlet they’re still looking into the identity of the fourth victim.

“Words cannot describe what it has done to us,” Latasha Hamilton, Sellman’s godmother, told WRC-TV.

“We are totally crushed… We’re at a loss for words, completely.

“I mean, they were innocent babies. They were babies. No one was grown that was in that car. No one.”

Hamilton added that Byers and Sellman were cousins and didn’t know the car was stolen.

Officers began pursuing the stolen Kia that night, but stopped the chase when the vehicle fled at a high speed.

They began searching for the car again after realizing the paper plates were expired.

Four minutes after police disengaged, the driver lost control while trying to pass another car and crashed into a tree.

The car vehicle burst into flames. All four victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

Swann, 14 – the youngest person in the car – was driving at the time of the crash.

“I am a grieving mom, too, and my condolences and love go out to the three other kids, too,” his mother Shanay Morton told WRC-TV.

“Like, we are together. I am not against nobody.

“I want us to all come together and mourn together and not start hatred towards each other, because at the end of the day, we all need support and love so we can get through this tragedy.”

The police investigation remains ongoing.
