Authorities have taken a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old into custody in connection to a tragic incident that left five family members dead following a series of shootings in East St. Louis, Illinois, on Sunday.
According to FOX 19, two additional individuals were also wounded and are currently in critical condition.
The violent events unfolded at three separate locations, with officials confirming that “all the victims are related.”
FOX 2 Now has identified the victims of the fatal shootings as 21-year-old Quentin L. Thompson, 24-year-old Devin D. May, 25-year-old Shania Thompson, 49-year-old Cherie L. May, and 74-year-old Patricia A. May.
The Illinois State Police apprehended the teenage suspects at Frank Holten State Park. At this stage, charges have not been filed, and there is no information available regarding the firearms involved in the incident.
