Tori Spelling has broken her silence following a significant car accident earlier this week, during which she was accompanied by seven children.
In a heartfelt Instagram video shared on Tuesday, Spelling recounted, “I felt it was time to reach out to everyone. It’s taken me a moment to post because, as many of you know, four of my kids along with three of their friends and I were involved in a car accident just days before Easter in Temecula, California.”
“We’re all safe, but it’s been an incredibly overwhelming experience. We feel truly fortunate and blessed because it could have been far worse,” she expressed.
She further elaborated, “The driver who collided with us was speeding recklessly. We suspect they ran a light. I am immensely thankful that, in that split second, our guardian angels were watching over us.”
The incident was initially reported by TMZ on Saturday. Law enforcement officials informed the outlet that deputies responded to a crash scene in Temecula at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, where they discovered two vehicles with significant damage.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office told People that Spelling, 52, was driving four of her children and three of their friends when they were hit by a driver, who was allegedly speeding and ran through a red light.
The former “Beverly Hills, 90210″ star and all seven children were then transported to the hospital in three separate ambulances, where TMZ reports they were treated for injuries including cuts, contusions and concussions.
There’s no report on which four of Spelling’s five children were in the car with her at the time.
The actress shares her children — Liam, 19, Stella, 17, Hattie, 14, Finn, 13, and Beau, 9 — with her ex-husband, fellow actor Dean McDermott.
The couple split in 2023 after 17 years of marriage before finalizing their divorce last year.
