FOX news correspondent Ashley Strohmier has announced the birth of her baby boy.
The overnight anchor shared a sweet photo of her “healthy and strong” newborn in the hospital room on Sunday afternoon.
“Welcome to the world my sweet baby boy! Everyone is healthy and strong,” Strohmier wrote on Instagram.
Her husband, Mike Counihan, was seen at her side as they welcomed their new baby into the world.
Strohmier was pictured embracing her child as Counihan smiled, looking down at them.
The news anchor’s post was quickly flooded with messages congratulating the new parents.
“So excited for you guys! Hope you all are doing well!,” one fan wrote.
“Look at the smile on your husband’s face he’s over the moon,” another person commented.

“How wonderful! Your life has just changed forever in the best way!” a third added.
Strohmier worked as a general assignment reporter in Columbia, Missouri, before joining Fox News Channel in March 2020 to start as an overnight anchor.
She also frequently serves as a guest host for FNC’s FOX & Friends First.
Strohmier and professional athlete Mike Counihan married in April 2022.
Strohmier announced her pregnancy on social media in May.
“So happy to say we are going to be parents!!” she captioned her post.
Since May, the journalist has shared many images documenting her pregnancy, including photos of a baby shower thrown by her colleagues at Fox.
