Kayleigh McEnany has ignited a lively online discussion after posting a video of her homemade lunch, with some critics advising her to steer clear of the kitchen.

The 37-year-old, who hosts “Saturday in America” on Fox News, became the center of attention after unveiling her culinary creation in a video. Some viewers suggested she should focus on her broadcasting career instead.

The media commentator enthusiastically showed off her midday meal in a video shared to X, formerly Twitter, which was uploaded alongside a caption that assured viewers ‘this is not a prank.’

“This is homemade. I made this myself. It’s actually a combination of two meals,” McEnany explained, unveiling her lunch from its container.

She described her dish as “beef with peppers and rice, combined with chicken and broccoli from another day, creating this beautiful southwestern meal.”

McEnany enthusiastically added, “It’s going to be great, but it wouldn’t be complete without sriracha sauce,” as she playfully brandished a bottle of the spicy condiment, pretending to drizzle it over her meal.

She then added some Sargento cheese, opting for a Mexican blend.

The former White House Press Secretary then shared that she has switched from drinking her green tea from a mug with plastic linings to an aluminum one due to microplastics, proudly showing it off.

‘I’m ready to eat,’ she said chirpily, ending the video with: ‘Cooking with Kayleigh!’

While McEnany was looking forward to tucking into her lunch, some viewers weren’t impressed with the spread, taking to the comments section to share their doubts.

‘I now understand why Kayleigh’s husband does most of the cooking,’ one user wrote.

‘Being served that kind of food works better than Ozempic,’ someone else added.

‘Never trust a skinny chef… Including Kayleigh,’ laughed another.

‘Looks “interesting,”‘ one wrote, in part.

‘Holy s**t! Guess what? Millions upon millions of people in America cook their own meals! We don’t have chefs or go out to eat every night or door dash we actually cook our own food! Does she want an award?’ said another sarcastically.

Others supported the media personality, praising her meal preparation.

‘Is there anything this woman can’t do. Looks very tasty,’ one fan wrote.

‘I’m really impressed! Kayleigh can actually cook… wow!’ said another.

It’s not the first time McEnany has shared her meals to social media to mixed results.

Last week, she microwaved some frozen macaroni and cheese, noting the last time she had cooked the meal, viewers had pointed out she shouldn’t heat it up with the plastic still on.

‘I thought I was boring,’ one user joked.

‘Oh my God, who actually gives a damn about her microwaving, macaroni and cheese!’ said another.

The Fox News host often shares snippets of her life on air. Last year, she announced she’s expecting her third child live on the show.

McEnany is married to Sean Patrick Gilmartin, a retired former MLB pitcher for the New York Mets, Baltimore Orioles and Tampa Bay Rays.

The couple are already parents to six-year-old daughter Blake and three-year-old son Nash.
