MSNBC is reporting, according to sources, that charges may be coming regarding former national security advisor John Bolton as early as next week.

According to the MSNBC report, a grand jury has been hearing evidence “for several weeks” related to the handling of classified documents, and the case recently sped up.

Kelly Hayes, the acting U.S. Attorney for Maryland, has told Justice Department colleagues she believes there is a reasonable basis to pursue charges against Bolton, the people said.

A probe of Bolton was shut down under Joe Biden, but then his home and his office were raided in August.

Breaking: Letitia James Has Been Indicted

Bolton’s attorneys are saying he did nothing improper.

This, following the indictment of New York Attorney General Letitia James, is likely to cause a major meltdown on the left. But as with James, you can’t spin the facts if they are there, and we’ll have to see as they lay out the case here.
