Genocide, it seems, is expensive. On Sunday, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz released documentation indicating that Hamas had asked Iran for $500 million to complete the destruction of Israel. This request was made before the October 7th, 2023, attacks Hamas launched into Israel.

Defense Minister Israel Katz revealed an intelligence document on Sunday showing that Hamas leaders Yahya Sinwar and Muhammad Deif had sent a letter to Iran’s IRGC Quds Force commander Esmail Qaani in June 2021, seeking support for the terror group’s plans to invade Israel, which were ultimately carried out on October 7, 2023.

“I am presenting here for the first time a document that was found in the tunnels of senior Hamas officials in Gaza, which proves a direct relationship between Iran and Yahya Sinwar and Muhammad Deif, as part of Iran’s support for the Hamas plan to destroy Israel,” Katz said in a video statement.

It’s been known for some time that Iran was supporting Hamas, as well as Hezbollah, the Houthis, and other Islamic terror groups. Written confirmation is good, though, and note that this was found in the tunnels of “senior Hamas officials,” presumably by soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

The statement was recorded during a visit to the Military Intelligence Directorate’s so-called intelligence collection and technical spoils unit — known by its Hebrew acronym, “Amshat.”

“In the document, they (the Hamas leaders) ask of the commander of the [Islamic] Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force to transfer $500 million for destroying the State of Israel,” he said.

An X account has presented what are claimed to be the intercepted documents:

Israel Katz also took to his official X account to present the documentation (audio in Hebrew).

The X post continues:

In the document, Hamas demands $500 million from the IRGC’s Quds Force to fund Israel’s destruction.

Izadi, head of the IRGC’s Palestinian department, replies that despite Iran’s economic crisis and the suffering of its people, Tehran will continue financing Hamas — because fighting Israel and the U.S. is the regime’s top priority.

The conclusion is clear: Iran is the head of the snake.

Iran is and has been for some time the leading state sponsor of Islamic terrorism. They are, as Defense Minister Katz puts it, the head of the snake. They have the destruction of Israel as a primary role, but here in the United States, we should always bear in mind that to Iran, Israel is the “Lesser Satan,” whereas we, in America, are the “Greater Satan.”

Despite its denials, Iran is actively funding and fueling terror across all fronts — from Gaza and Lebanon to Syria, Judea & Samaria, and the Houthis in Yemen — under the banner of destroying Israel.

Israel will do whatever it takes to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and will continue striking its terror proxies until the Iranian axis of evil is dismantled.

The request wasn’t for a lump sum but rather for $20 million per month for two years, which would be spent on, as Hamas phrased in the document, “to achieve these great goals, through which we will change the face of the world.”

“We are confident that by the end of these two years, or during them, God willing, we will uproot this monstrous entity, and we will end this dark period in the history of our nation,” the letter reads.

Charming people. Bear in mind also that, of this $500 million, it’s very likely that perhaps $5 million would go towards recruiting, training, equipping, and feeding Hamas terrorist goblins, while the remaining $495 million would go into the pockets of Hamas’s “leadership.” There’s ample evidence that this is their standard practice.
