FEARS Hamas fighters are planning to post sickening footage of Israeli hostages have been sparked as the terror group threatened a major rocket attack on the port city of Ashkelon.
The militant group’s armed wing spokesman Abu Ubaida urged locals to evacuate the area by 5pm (3pmBST).



He posted on Telegram: “In response to the enemy’s crime of displacing our people and forcing them to flee their homes in several areas of the Gaza Strip, we give the residents of the occupied city of Ashkelon a deadline to leave before 5pm.”
The warning comes amid fears Hamas are preparing to release disturbing videos of hostages begging for their lives.
Israeli school parents association have reportedly sent a message to parents to immediately remove apps like TikTok and Instagram from their children’s phones’ so they won’t accidentally watch any graphic content.

It comes as Israel earlier urged civilians in Gaza to flee south to Egypt ahead of an all-out ground assault as the number of casualties on both sides reached over 3,000.

Israeli army has massed tanks, artillery and thousands of elite commandos ready for a ground invasion.
It has also reportedly begun laying mines as it blockades the Gaza Strip, cutting off food, water and electricity.
Following Hamas threat to execute some of the 150 civilian hostages, Israel unleashed a barrage of airstrikes on the Gaza Strip overnight.
Fireballs repeatedly lit up Gaza City before dawn this morning as explosions sounded and sirens wailed.
Israel’s military said it has restored control full control over the border adding that it had recovered the bodies of around 1,500 Hamas fighters.
The country’s PM Benjamin Netanyahu dubbed Hamas as worse than ISIS in a damning speech where he vowed to destroy them.
Israel has reportedly threatened Egypt with striking any lorry carrying aid to Gaza through the Rafah crossing.
Over 3,000 people in Israel and Gaza have been killed since the Palestinian militant group stormed the border on Saturday and massacred hundreds in a surprise attack.
