A MISSING teen has been found after a desperate search that lasted over a week.
Seventeen-year-old Hannah Osborn was confirmed safe shortly after her dad shared a heartbreaking post begging her to “come home and give us a hug.”
It comes after her father expressed concerns over her activity on Snapchat before the disappearance.
Hannah was located on Monday, nine days after her parents launched a search when she disappeared from her dad’s home in rural Arkansas on August 9.
Jackson County Sheriff Russell Brinsfield announced the massive breakthrough in a statement on Facebook on Monday.
“Hannah Osborn has been located safe,” Brinsfield said.
“We would like to thank the White County Sheriff’s Office, Arkansas State Police, Independence County Sheriff’s Office, and the Newport Police Department for their tireless, courageous dedication and unwavering collaboration in locating her.
“Her safety and well-being bring relief, hope, and a powerful reminder of the good that comes from working together.”
No more details have been released about Hannah’s initial disappearance.
Her mom, Crystal Osborn, said the family doesn’t know any more details than what cops said.
“Hannah has been found,” Crystal said.
“We haven’t seen her or know any details, except that she has been found!”
A candlelight vigil for Hannah that was previously scheduled for tonight has since been canceled.
Welsey Osborn, Hannah’s dad, has yet to speak out about the development.
It comes after Wesley previously said that Hannah is extremely active on Snapchat, which caused issues in their family, according to ABC affiliate KATV.
“She’s had problems with being on that Snapchat and meeting people out of town and things, but Hannah has always come home,” Wesley told the outlet.
He told police he was worried about foul play in Hannah’s disappearance.
