A BRAVE Israeli woman has been hailed as a hero after saving her entire community from blood-thirsty Hamas terrorists.

Inbar Lieberman helped coordinate defensive measures to kill two dozen Hamas militants from invading the kibbutz of Nir Am, only one mile from the besieged Gaza strip.

After explosions erupted early Saturday as Hamas unleashed a surprise attack on Israel, 26-year-old Inbar leapt into action and distributed weapons to defenders.

The small town of 700 people had only a 12-member security team on standby, lead by the young Inbar.

Inbar quickly armed the 12 security volunteers and placed them in strategic positions across the small kibbutz.

The brave young woman killed five Hamas members and others killed more than 20 during the four hour siege.

One resident of Nir Am, Ilit Paz, spoke to Israel Hayom about Inbar’s decisive actions: “It was amazing. My husband was part of the standby unit that worked to prevent more casualties.

“They heard the shots and made contact on their own with other members of the standby unit and with Inbal, and they understood that they were told to be on alert.

“But Inbal made a decision not to wait and be jumped operationally. In fact, the fact that they did it early, they prevented dozens of casualties.”

The Maariv Daily lauded her actions: “When it’s all over, this woman will receive the Israel Prize.

“The story of her heroism is a story that will go down in Israeli lore for generations.”

Thanks to Inbar’s decisive action, her Kibbutz was largely unharmed – but neighbouring communities weren’t so lucky.

It comes as…

  • Israel blitzed Gaza with more heavy airstrikes overnight
  • The IDF mobilised 300,000 reservists for a full-scale ground invasion
  • More than 3,000 have been confirmed dead in Israel and Gaza and thousands more injured
  • PM Netanyahu dubbed Hamas “worse than ISIS” and said Israel will crush them with “a force like never before”
  • The terrorists threatened to execute hostages and broadcast grisly footage

In one town, Hamas terrorists are claimed to have massacred at least 40 babies and kids in a sickening rampage.

Israeli soldiers discovered scenes of unimaginable horror in Kfar Aza – a village close to the Gaza border that was captured for two days by the Hamas militants.

It comes amid fears the Middle East is on the brink of an all out war as a barrage of missiles were fired from Lebanon and Syria into Israel.

More than 2,000 have died in the bloody conflict, and Israel has vowed to raze Gaza to the ground.

Forces unleashed 250 airstrikes in just one hour early on Wednesday, Fox News’ Trey Yingst reported.

An Israeli defence official told Channel 13 News that Gaza would become a “tent city” after Hamas fighters broke through the border fence and stormed into the country’s south at the weekend.

Israel has stopped entry of food, fuel and medicines into Gaza in response to Hamas’ bloody incursion into Israel – which Iran is understood to have helped plot.

It comes as local media reports suggest that Israel was in fact warned about the Hamas attack by Egyptian intelligence.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office denied having any prior knowledge of the attack, which has been dubbed a “complete intelligence failure”.
