In an unexpected twist, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has teamed up with musician Kid Rock for a spirited campaign promoting fitness and nutrition. The duo has unveiled a lively video titled “Secretary Kennedy and Kid Rock’s Rock Out Workout,” aimed at encouraging people to embrace physical activity and wholesome eating habits.

Kennedy posted Tuesday on X: “I’ve teamed up with @KidRock to deliver two simple messages to the American people: GET ACTIVE + EAT REAL FOOD.”

The dynamic video, set to the pulsating beat of Kid Rock’s hit “Bawitdaba,” showcases Kennedy and Kid Rock engaging in a variety of fitness and lifestyle activities. Clips feature the pair enjoying meals, posing patriotically with symbols like the American flag and the Statue of Liberty, and breaking a sweat together in the gym.

Throughout the video, Kennedy and Kid Rock can be seen exercising side by side. Kennedy utilizes a seated arm curl machine, while Kid Rock works out on a cable machine, with Kennedy joining in on a similar apparatus. In a collaborative moment, Kennedy holds Kid Rock’s feet as he performs crunches, and the two also alternate using a lying leg curl machine.

The workout session takes an unexpected turn when both men appear shirtless, showcasing their dedication to fitness. Kennedy pedals away on an exercise bike as Kid Rock completes push-ups in the background, before they swap exercises. The video also captures Kennedy braving an ice bath while clad in jeans, juxtaposed with Kid Rock lounging in a hot tub. To cap off their collaboration, they engage in a friendly game of pickleball and enjoy whole milk together in the hot tub.

This partnership follows recent buzz surrounding Kid Rock’s performance at the Turning Point USA All America Halftime Show, an event designed as a counter to the NFL’s Super Bowl Halftime Show. A poll conducted by TMZ on February 11 showed that 64.5 percent of respondents favored Kid Rock’s performance over Bad Bunny’s, which garnered 35.5 percent support before the poll concluded.

On February 9, Kid Rock also reached the number one spot on the iTunes chart with his rendition of “‘Til You Can’t,” performed at the Turning Point USA All America Halftime Show, displacing Bad Bunny’s song “DtMF.” The original version of “‘Til You Can’t,” released by country singer Cody Johnson, rose alongside Kid Rock’s version and also ranked above Bad Bunny on the chart that day.

The Turning Point USA All America Halftime Show drew more than 25 million viewers across the platforms on which it was broadcast, including more than six million views on YouTube alone. Final audience totals were not immediately available.
