IT’S the most wonderful time of year for porch pirates, and they’re not holding back this holiday season.
A ring camera caught a porch pirate appearing to steal a resident’s package in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
In the video, you can see an older woman standing on the sidewalk at the bottom of the home’s steps as cars pass by the busy road.
She wore a long plaid jacket and had a bright yellow hood sticking out the top of the jacket.
She donned a black beanie, jeans, and boots and pushed a walker with her.
The video captures her looking out at the busy road for several minutes, appearing to keep a watch out for being caught.
She then bent down to grab several packages from the front steps of the home.

The woman grabbed two packages and placed them on her walker before nervously adjusting her hat as multiple cars passed by her.
She quickly reached for a third package that appeared to be from Amazon before pushing her walker and casually walking away.
If you listen closely, you can hear the woman speaking as she bent down to pick up the packages, but it is hard to make out.
The homeowner who caught the thief on camera issued a warning to residents.
“Hi! If you want to give County Street a heads up: this old lady is stealing packages,” Jill Carmel told the New Bedford Guide.
Thieves thrive during this time of year and are always looking for an early Christmas gift on someone else’s porch.
With Black Friday and Cyber Monday behind us, our packages are getting delivered to our doorsteps.
To not be a victim of these crimes, make sure you grab your packages immediately when delivered or hope for the best when you get home.
