A WOMAN has received the shock of her life after receiving a delivery for $20,000 in scratch-offs.
The FedEx package was delivered to the wrong business.
“I start going through the boxes, everything is normal until I get a box that is very heavy,” Danielle Alexandrov told local ABC affiliate WCVB.
“I open it up and it’s a box of scratch tickets.
“And I’m thinking, ‘Is this a joke?’ until I look at the receipt and its value is $20,000 worth of scratch tickets.”
The delivery was intended for nearby Kenyon’s Market.
Kenyon’s Market is well-known for its lottery ticket inventory, according to WCVB.

After the initial shock of the box’s contents, Alexandrov sent the tickets back to the Massachusetts Lottery.
“What would happen if I kept these? Would I be able to sleep at night?” Alexandrov told local CBS affiliate WYMT.
“I was asking myself those kinds of things, and it was like, ‘No.'”
Lottery officials said returning the tickets was the correct course of action.
“These tickets, until they’re activated by a retail agent, there’s really no value to them,” Christian Teja with the Massachusetts Lottery told WCVB.
“If someone tried to take one of these tickets, if it was a winning ticket, brought it to a retail location, there would be a message that would flag it and they’d be unable to cash the ticket.”
Alexandrov helped facilitate the box’s delivery to the market.
“We agreed to do the right thing. So, we looked at the receipt where it’s supposed to go and worked on returning the box,” Alexandrov told WYMT.
