A WALMART shopper has expressed her anger towards having no other option but to use self-checkout along with not getting paid to do so.

The shopper insists it is not fair that she is forced to use self-checkout when the store is busy without being paid for it as an employee would.

When the shopper was at Walmart, there was only one register open and a long line waiting to be checked out – which forced her to take her $200 load to self-checkout.

At self-checkout, the woman became infuriated that she had to do everything herself without being paid for it after working an eight-hour shift herself.

TikTok creator Serving Good and Stories (@servingfoodandstories) shared her experience in a video.

“Let’s just start off by saying f**k you Walmart. F** you. I just worked an eight-hour shift,” she said.

“The last thing I want to do is go to your store and ring up everything myself and then bag everything myself.

“And then get into a mini argument with your employee about your machine.”

She highlighted that people have to do the job of Walmart employees for free when using self-checkout.

“Ok. I worked eight hours. You don’t pay me. You don’t pay me. I’m so sick of this self-checkout stuff,” she said.

There was consideration to go to the cashier, but she did not want to wait in the long line behind people with full carts.

“You had one register open. One. One register,” she said.

“And there were like six to seven people in line with their buggies full.

“I would have been there forever. So, I decided to go into the self-checkout even though you don’t pay me to do it OK?

“I rang up my whole buggy, and I had a good load. I had about $200 worth of food because I try to buy for a week or two at a time.”

However, she ran into another issue with an employee who did not want to help her with credit card issues.

She insisted that her anger stems from that the employees don’t seem like they want to help customers.

“And for some reason, your new update on your machines does not like to read my card.

“Ok, not my problem.

“I called someone over and she had the nerve to tell me, ‘Well if you knew it didn’t ring up, or if you knew that it doesn’t slide. Then. You should have just waited in line.

“You want me to go get in line behind six or seven people because you don’t want to come over here and swipe your card and let me type it in.”

If it weren’t for being on a budget, the woman would not shop at Walmart because of these issues.

“You’re so lucky, I’m on a budget and can’t afford anywhere else,” she said.

“I hate Walmart so f*****g much.”
