A WALMART shopper has told how he didn’t get a receipt after buying his groceries so was left stunned when he was quizzed by workers.

The ordeal forced the customer to search for alternative ways how to get proof that he purchased the goods.

The TikToker (@globalteewhy) revealed he was asked about his receipt after buying some items from the supermarket.

He claimed that the cashier didn’t give him a receipt and said they couldn’t print it off after going to the customer service desk.

The influencer revealed that a loss prevention officer inside the store believed he wasn’t stealing.

But a customer service desk official claimed the shopper had to return to the store.

The shopper said: “I was like I need to find a way to find this receipt.”

He wanted the evidence just in case he needed to return anything to the store.

Walmart shoppers can access their receipts via an online tool on the chain’s website.

Shoppers must input the store’s ZIP code or the city and state.

They must have the date and total receipt amount to hand. Shoppers can find out this information via their bank statements.

Shoppers must include their card type and the last four digits of their number.

Customers who have a Walmart account can access receipts if their payment card is stored online.

Walmart has come under fire from some shoppers who have taken to TikTok to fume about showing their receipts.

A TikToker (@Lowlomelon) said she was quizzed by workers who urged her to show her receipt before she hit back saying it was not the chain’s policy to display anything.

Meanwhile, lawyer Aaron Marks has said that Walmart staffers cannot be physical with shoppers when challenging them about their purchases.
