It isn’t just President Donald Trump who’s been moving at a furious pace since he took office on January 20th. The Senate, thankfully, has moved swiftly to confirm his Cabinet nominees, and his entire administration has been taking bold steps to implement his America First agenda.

In particular, Border Czar Tom Homan and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem have ramped up efforts to locate and detain criminal illegal immigrants and, where possible, have them removed from the U.S. and repatriated to their countries of origin.

But along the way, there have been issues with leakers tipping off communities ahead of intended ICE raids, though both Homan and Noem indicated they believed they had identified the source of the leaks.

Now, Noem has confirmed that, specifically, two alleged leakers have been identified and will be prosecuted.

@Sec_Noem announces via video that they have identified two alleged leakers within DHS who have been “telling individuals about our operations”, and DHS will seek to prosecute them. A DHS official tells FOX both people are being referred to DOJ for consideration of felony prosecutions. It will be up to DOJ to decide whether or not to pursue any prosecutions, and the individuals will also get due process. No details on who they are.

DHS statement to @FoxNews:

“We are preparing to refer these perpetrators to the DOJ for felony prosecutions. These individuals face up to 10 years in federal prison. We will find and root out all leakers. They will face prison time & we will get justice for the American people.”

In the video from Noem, she states:

“We have identified two leakers of information here at the Department of Homeland Security who have been telling individuals about our operations and putting law enforcement lives in jeopardy. We plan to prosecute these two individuals and hold them accountable for what they’ve done.”

Though the identities of the alleged leakers have not been made public, per the statement, they appear to be DHS personnel.

Of course, that does not mean they are the only sources who have tipped off communities ahead of ICE raids.

Last month, Border czar Tom Homan said the administration was closing in on the individual responsible for the leak of the Aurora raid.

Noem had pointed the finger at the FBI.

“The FBI is so corrupt,” Noem wrote on X. “We will work with any and every agency to stop leaks and prosecute these crooked deep state agents to the fullest extent of the law.”

This is a developing story. RedState will provide additional details as they become available.
