YET again today our streets will be awash with Islamist thugs, ignorant teenagers and thick lefties cheered on by Hamas and Hezbollah as the useful idiots they are.

With them on the latest pro-Palestine hate marches may be a few naive souls whose hearts are in the right place.

Do they know they were praised ­yesterday by Hassan Nasrallah, chief of Lebanon’s murderous Hezbollah?

Or that Hamas’s racist psychopaths are delighted to find so many gullible Westerners prepared to excuse their slaughter of 1,400 innocent Jews — and to foolishly demand a “ceasefire” which would solely benefit the terror group?

Or that their glib chant, for Palestine to be “free from the river to the sea”, has been denounced as the ­“terrorists’ ­battle cry” by the Home Secretary?

Rightly so, since it inevitably demands the annihilation of a nation.

The Met Police must take a hard look at today’s protests.

Because the next, on Armistice Day, could be a tinderbox.

Any intrusion by marchers into Whitehall, or violations of the Cenotaph or other war memorials, will outrage all patriotic Brits fiercely proud of those who gave their lives for our freedom.

Rishi Sunak’s letter to Met chief Mark Rowley yesterday made clear cops can apply to ban the demo if merely imposing conditions on it will not keep order.

Police must consider it. We do not believe they or MPs yet grasp the growing fury over our streets being used to back terror and foment anti-Semitism.

Most of Britain wants this orgy of Islamist hate silenced.

WITH luck Jordan McSweeney will not live nearly long enough to benefit from having his minimum jail term cut by five years.

But what were appeal judges thinking?

SURELY no example of the middle-class entitlement and hypocrisy of Just Stop Oil can top that of Lydia Gribbin, 28.

She willingly wrecked the evenings of theatregoers with some deranged stunt. Allegedly.

But her trial inconveniences HER, so she begged the judge to postpone.

Turns out she’s FLYING to India.

Using what fuel? Soy milk?
